School councils are an essential part of Victorian government schools, helping guide decision-making and shaping the future of our school community. At Euroa Secondary College, our School Council works in partnership with the Principal to support the smooth operation and strategic direction of the school.
Made up of staff, parents, students, and community members, the council brings together diverse voices and perspectives. It operates under the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) and related regulations, with clear roles and responsibilities.
The council includes four sub-committees—Finance, Marketing, Uniform and Buildings & Grounds—each chaired by a council member, to focus on key areas of school governance.
College Council meetings are held in the College Board Room on the second Tuesday of each month during the school term.
