Our History

Euroa Secondary College, originally established as Euroa High School in 1956, has a rich history of adapting to educational needs and community growth. In 1992, reflecting a broader curriculum that combined both high and technical education, the school was renamed Euroa Secondary College.

To commemorate its milestones, the school has published two significant histories: "25 Great Years – A Brief History of Euroa High School 1956-1981" and "Silver to Gold – 1981-2006 – The Next 25 Years."

As the sole state secondary school in the Shire of Strathbogie, Euroa Secondary College is committed to delivering excellence in education, serving communities including Nagambie, Avenel, Longwood, Ruffy, and Violet Town.

The college's evolution reflects its dedication to providing diverse educational opportunities, preparing students for various pathways, and maintaining strong community ties.
