As part of the Year 9 “Year with a Difference” program, students participate in an “Expeditions” class for four periods each week. The aim of this class is to promote personal growth and interpersonal skills while providing opportunities for students to take ownership over their learning. Students have started the year by creating a proposal for an excursion for all Year 9 students to be carried out at the end of the year. For the remainder of the year, students will rotate through three different classes, themed around outdoor education, product design and community service. Students will be participating in a self-directed project and will be sharing their achievements with the community!
